Q.  I'm confused.  Why is there Cross Movement Ministries and Cross Movement Records?  Are they two separate organizations?

Actually there are THREE separate "Cross Movement" entities?  There's Cross Movement the group, Cross Movement Ministries Inc., and Cross Movement Records.

• Cross Movement Ministries is a 501(c)3 nonprofit ministry based in Philadelphia, Pa.

• Cross Movement Records is a record label company based in Berlin, NJ.

• And Cross Movement the group is an evangelistic rap group comprised of four solo artists.

Q.  Who do I contact for what?

The ministry office handles administration, booking, scheduling, strategic planning, evangelism, and anything else "ministry related."  For more info about CM Ministries, click here.

The record label handles demos, radio servicing requests, interview requests, press releases for the group Cross Movement and all signed solo artists, artist bios, producing albums and music videos and anything else "label related."

Q.  Who does what?

Duce aka The Ambassador is the President of Cross Movement Ministries.  Brady Goodwin aka The Phanatik is the Vice President.  Also on the ministry staff is TRU-LIFE, Tony, Kim, jd, DJ Official, Manny Lambert aka TRUTH, and Laurie who serves as a volunteer.

The Tonic and Earthquake are on staff with Cross Movement Records, also other various staff members.

Q.  What artists make up the group "Cross Movement."

At this time the group Cross Movement consists of the following solo artists:  THE AMBASSADOR, THE TONIC, THE PHANATIK, and TRU-LIFE.

Q.  T.R.U.T.H. is not apart of Cross Movement the group? 

Right.  T.R.U.T.H. is not a part of Cross Movement the group but he is on staff with Cross Movement Ministries.  TRUTH often travels with Cross Movement the group as ministry partners.  You can check out T.R.U.T.H.'s own spot on the web at crossmovement.org/truth.

Q.  Do you read all incoming e-mails sent to your organization?

Yes we do.  Due to our tour schedule abroad we may occasionally take a long time to reply but we do our best to respond in some way.  We get a lot of incoming e-mails.  Incoming e-mails are forwarded to the appropriate party or answered directly by DJ Official or jd.

Q. I'm an inspiring artist.  Any tips?

We get e-mailed this question a whole lot.  And our ministry and label both intend to develop materials to help disciple people interested in sparking a similar type of works in his or her own area(s).  We are just beginning with developing this literature, but for right now we can refer you to the below two articles:

Q. I need some Christian vinyl!

Our record label sells some from time to time.  Keep your eye on the record label store.  You can also check beats.com or sphereofhiphop.com for Christian vinyl listings.

Q.  What does "coup te dat" mean?

A.  A "coup de tat" means that someone is trying to overthrow a government.  Peep Dictionary.com for a further breakdown on the definition or just look up the word in a regular dictionary.  It's in there.  For the direct Web link to the online definition, click here.   Very soon we will have all of the lyrics and "not so familiar" words in our lyrics defined on the lyrics page.  "Coup de tat" will definitely be one of those words.
